Opportunity Hub (OHUB), a New Orleans-based new energy technology incubator, is returning with a $100,000 startup investment challenge designed to spotlight innovation and accelerate entrepreneurship in South Louisiana.
The high-energy pitch event will feature five finalists from OHUB’s Climate Tech Accelerator. Each team will pitch their venture live to a panel of expert judges, with audience feedback helping shape the final decision.
The competition takes place at 6 p.m. on June 25 at The Shop at the Contemporary Arts Center, located at 900 Camp Street in New Orleans.
Q93’s Wild Wayne will emcee the evening, which promises a high-stakes showcase of vision, technology, and impact. Attendees will enjoy live pitches, fireside chats, special guests, and a packed room of founders, investors, and community members eager to shape the region’s tech future.
Lauren McCray, Chief Revenue Officer at Square, will serve as one of the event’s judges. Anthony Oni, Managing Partner of the Elevate Future Fund at Energy Impact Partners, will deliver a keynote during the event’s fireside chat.
Attendees can register to join in person or virtually through the OHUB Ecosystem App at www.ecosystemapp.co.
The event marks the culmination of OHUB’s three-month Climate Tech Bootcamp, a rigorous program that prepares early-stage companies to build, scale, and attract investment. The startup that earns the top spot will receive $100,000 in early-stage capital to further its mission and market reach.
