Another law will help homeowners receive assistance to retrofit their property through the Fortified Roof Program.
Insurance companies will now be required to notify the state if they make changes to how and where they are writing policies.
In terms of voting, the secretary of state has to notify voters of changes to polling locations and who can witness an absentee ballot being filled out.
Police will now have the authority to take down drones if they witness one operating in a suspicious manner.
There are also new protections for minors regarding data, privacy, and advertising on large social media platforms.
Another legislation will require high school counselors to ensure students are taking the right courses needed to graduate.
