One of the inmates who escaped from the Orleans Parish Justice Center in May appeared in court Thursday for a different case.
Gary Price was in court for a hearing on his prior charges, including aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a firearm, and false imprisonment with a weapon.
The court ruled that the final discovery hearing in this case is set for July 10 at 3 p.m., which Price will not attend.
A motion hearing is scheduled for August 13.
Price is currently being held in Angola.
