The third annual Grand Isle Island Strong Music Festival will go on as planned Thursday despite the threat of tropical rain.
The festival runs from Thursday to Saturday at 4500 Tarpon Rodeo Drive.
According to a Facebook post made by the festival, organizers say the festival will start at 4:30 p.m.
The festival was created to help fund recovery efforts for the island following damage from Hurricane Ida.
The three-day music festival will feature live performances, food, crafts, and vendors at the covered Tarpon Rodeo Pavilion.
