On Monday (July 21), Mariah Carey officially announced details of her 16th album, Here for It All, which is set to be released on September 26 via Gamma, the independent music company that she signed a multi-record deal with earlier this summer. The new project will serve as Carey’s long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s Caution. The announcement was made via an Instagram video where Carey revealed the title, cover art, and release date for the upcoming album, while also teasing a brief snippet of the title track. Another recent social media clip featured Carey mixing up a sweet treat in the kitchen while singing along to her forthcoming single, “Sugar Sweet.” Last month, Carey released the lead single from the project, “Type Dangerous,” along with a music video, with the track recently getting remixed by collaborators Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Redman, Big Sean, DJ Snake, and Luísa Sonza.
