The Alumni Association of O.P. Walker High School is partnering with local Algiers community groups to host a school supply drive. The event will be held from 4-7 p.m. at 3518 General Meyer on Aug. 2, 2025.
Organizers say the drive is about more than just pencils and notebooks. It’s a way to support students as they prepare for the school year, and to honor the legacy of a high school that once played a major role in the neighborhood.
The drive is free and open to the public. All are encouraged to donate and show support for local students and families.
