New Orleans police have arrested a man after he allegedly cut a woman during an altercation.
The incident happened on Saturday around 8:45 p.m. in the 7000 block of Crowder Boulevard.
According to police, Christopher Brooks, 46, approached a woman who was walking home from the bus stop.
When he approached her, a verbal altercation ensued, and as the victim continued to walk away, Brooks cut her leg above her right hip with a pocketknife.
The victim was transported to a local hospital.
This is an ongoing investigation.
