The New Orleans Police Department is investigating an armed robbery in the Treme/Lafitte neighborhood on Saturday night.
The robbery happened in the 1200 block of Governor Nicholls Street around 10:45 p.m.
Police say four people parked their car in the 1400 block of Gov. Nicholls and started to walk towards the French Quarter when two armed men approached them.
The suspects demanded the keys, and the victims complied.
The suspects left the area toward Claiborne Ave. and later returned to retrieve the black Jeep Wagoneer with Florida license plate number 15BTGP.
This is an ongoing investigation.
