A Silver Alert has been issued by the Louisiana State Police on behalf of the New Orleans Police Department for a missing New Orleans woman.
Police are searching for Dorothea Hernaez, 82, who was last seen on July 7 around 12:15 p.m. on St. Claude Avenue near Lamanche Street.
Hernaez has brown eyes and long silver hair. She is 5’5″ tall and weighs around 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing black pants and carrying a black purse.
She has a medical condition that may impair her judgment.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the New Orleans Police Department at (504) 658-6050 or dial 911.
