A New Orleans rapper has been transferred to Angola after he was convicted of rape.
New Orleans rapper Mystikal, whose real name is Michael Tyler, was transferred to Angola to serve a 20-year sentence after pleading guilty to rape charges.
Tyler was moved from the Ascension Parish Jail following his sentencing last month.
The charges stem from his 2022 arrest in connection with an investigation involving a woman at his Prairieville home.
