Although mid- to high-level clouds may be moving in this afternoon and this evening, our forecast remains very pleasant and mainly dry in the short term. High temperatures will remain close to 80 degrees through Thursday, and the humidity will stay very manageable. Those high clouds will likely exit by mid-morning Wednesday, as skies will become mostly sunny, and Wednesday and Thursday will be very pleasant.
The humidity begins to increase by Friday afternoon, as moisture from a disturbance, and possibly the remnants of Tropical Storm Vance, will likely bring us a chance for scattered showers. The timing on this chance of rain is still a bit up in the air, but right now we have a chance for showers in our forecast late afternoon and through the evening on Halloween. The disturbance should be leaving on Sunday, so our chance for rain will be going down as we get to the end of the weekend and into the beginning of next week. However, dewpoint temperatures will be a bit higher, and we may be starting a little bit foggy on Monday and Tuesday.
