Sunday is another WDSU Weather Impact Day, as the Weather Prediction Center puts us in the marginal risk to see possible flooding.
Some locations in Jefferson Parish saw over 6 inches of rain with the showers and thunderstorms that developed late in the afternoon on Halloween. With the ground now being saturated in a few areas, it will not take much more additional rain to contribute to a little bit of flooding. Widespread flooding is not expected, as additional inch to 2 inches of rain as possible in some communities on Sunday.
Here’s a look at some of the rainfall totals that we saw on Saturday across the area.
