First Student announced the rollout of its ‘HALO’ technology for the Jefferson Parish School System.
The largest transportation services provider in North America will use the AI technology in more than 1,400 buses.
The technology can provide real-time alerts, hazard detection and driving insights to help support safer trips.
Parents will also have greater visibility through the First View application.
The rollout could support local jobs by recruiting and keeping drivers in Louisiana communities.
