The St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office has identified the two people found dead in a residence in Covington on Monday.
The couple was identified as Margaret Breaud, 82, and Terrence Breaud, 71.
Margaret’s cause of death was a gunshot wound, and her manner of death was determined to be homicide. Terrence’s cause of death was a gunshot wound, and his manner of death was determined to be suicide.
Detectives say just before 9:30 a.m. on Monday, deputies responded to a residence in the 14000 block of Parro Lane near Covington.
A family had called 911 to report finding two people dead inside the home.
This is an ongoing investigation, but at this time, investigators believe all individuals have been accounted for, and there is no danger to the public.
