New Orleans police are investigating a homicide in the 4400 block of South Claiborne Avenue Sunday.
Police said they are responded around 6:54 a.m. to a report of a man lying on the ground and bleeding from the head.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police classified the death as a homicide.
