In an Instagram Story posted on Wednesday (June 18), Drake shared the figures of the staggering amount of losses he’s experienced through sports betting over the past month. According to the post, the Canadian rap superstar placed nearly $125 million in bets during the last month, resulting in over $8 million in losses. “Gotta share the other side of gambling…,” Drake wrote in his post. “Losses are so fried right now I hope I can post a big win for you all soon cause I’m the only one that has never seen a max.” He didn’t reveal the specific wagers that led to big losses, but the NBA and NHL playoffs games have dominated the world of sports betting in recent weeks, with the musician also publicly sharing a $750,000 bet he placed on a recent cricket match. Drake isn’t letting the setbacks stop him from making big wagers, as the rapper placed an $800,000 bet on Game 6 of the 2025 NBA Finals. (Billboard)
