A beloved Westbank cafe is closing its doors after 41 years.
The Terrytown Cafe announced Tuesday that Wednesday would be its last day and that it would be sadly closing its doors.
According to the cafe, the owners of the building sold the building and did not want to renew the cafe’s lease.
Although this happened on short notice, the cafe says they are staying as positive as they can and know that God must have a better plan for them.
“We will miss you guys so much from the customers and the employees who have truly become family to us. We will miss the community that we have grown so close to in the last 41 years in Terrytown. To everyone that has supported us, you will never know how grateful we are to you guys.”
Terrytown Cafe says they will not have donuts, but they will have breakfast plates and coffee, and they would love to see everyone’s faces tomorrow.
