The LSU Tigers are home from the College World Series after winning their eighth national championship.
The celebration for the team was held Wednesday night.
Fans gathered at Alex Box Stadium to congratulate the team on its win.
Timothy Wayne, an LSU student and Tim McGraw’s nephew preformed before the players, coach Jay Johnson and Louisiana leaders spoke.
The trophy was presented with a firework show following.
