A flood advisory has been issued for New Orleans, Jefferson and Plaquemines parishes until 4:30 p.m.
Areas that could expect minor flooding include New Orleans, Harvey, Timberlane, Marrero, Belle Chasse, Gretna, Westwego, Woodmere, Terrytown and Estelle.
As of 1:22 p.m., around 2-3 inches of rain has fallen.
An additional 2 inches is expected to fall over the area and could cause minor flooding.
