Protestors in New Orleans marched Tuesday to oppose ongoing ICE raids.
The protest started at Spanish Plaza and moved to the federal court and Lafayette Square.
Chanting “Hey hey, ho ho, immigrants are here to stay,” the protestors continued the message of rallies held yesterday in Basile and Jena, expressing concerns about ICE involvement in immigrant communities and mass incarceration.
“This justice journey, it began as an act of resistance. But it has become our declaration of power,” said one of the protestors.
