The National Hurricane Center has taken out any chance of tropical development in the Gulf and is now only watching an area outlined off the coast of the Southeastern U.S.
A weak front stalled out across the Southeast today and is developing quite a bit of storm activity from Florida to North Carolina and into the Atlantic waters off the coast of the Southeastern U.S.
WHAT WE KNOW:
- Chance of development over the next 2 days: Near 0%
- Chance of development over the next 3-7 days: Medium — 40%
- If development occurs, it would be gradual, and the system is expected to meander off the Southeast coast before moving northeast farther out to sea.
- Florida will have stormy days into and through the 4th of July holiday weekend
