Sunshine sticks around today, but we’re watching for a chance for rain as Halloween approaches.
Highs reach 78-83 today with sunshine!
Tonight will be cooler with lows 50-54 on the Northshore and 58-61 on the Southshore. Wednesday brings more sunshine with highs 79-84 degrees.
Dry weather through the workweek
Mostly dry weather continues through Friday. With dry ground and low humidity, fire danger remains elevated through Thursday. Avoid outdoor burning and follow local burn bans.
We’re also watching for possible minor coastal flooding around high tide beginning Wednesday night into Thursday. Easterly winds could add to already high tides.
Will it rain on Halloween?
Saturday looks warm. with highs in the lower 80s. Showers and a few thunderstorms could develop as more moisture moves into the area.
The timing is still uncertain. That includes whether showers will pass through during the evening trick-or-treat hours. Rain chances could linger into early Sunday.
Keep Halloween plans flexible and check for updates as we get closer to the weekend.
Tropics Update
There are no active Atlantic tropical cyclones or areas highlighted for development.
Moisture from Tropical Storm Vance in the eastern Pacific could contribute to our weekend rain.
