Covington High School is now in the running for a chance at winning $1 million.
Covington High School is one of four finalists in T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights competition.
The Lions secured the South Division after winning two earlier rounds, securing a $250,000 prize so far.
That prize money will go towards an upgrade to the schools’ fitness center and a $5,000 student leadership award.
The school now has a chance to win the whole competition, but needs the community’s help.
Community members can vote for Covington once a day through Nov. 8.
The school is asking residents, alumni, families and supporters to share the voting link and help spread the word.
