Celebration in the Oaks is returning to City Park this holiday season.
The holiday event will run from Nov. 27, 2026, through Jan. 1, 2027, and will feature expanded light displays and reimagined experiences throughout City Park.
“Celebration in the Oaks has been part of New Orleans’ holiday traditions for generations, and we’re excited to continue building on that experience,” said CPC President and CEO Rebecca Dietz. “Each year, we look for new ways to bring the magic of the season to life while preserving the traditions our community loves. This year’s additions reflect that commitment, creating even more opportunities for families and friends to make lasting memories in City Park.”
This year will feature an expanded driving tour featuring 45 exhibits along Pal Drive, a Mardi Gras-inspired tree display with purple. green, and gold light curtain and six-foot beads. There will also be enhanced uplighting showcasing the iconic live oaks along Roosevelt Mall with thousands of bulbs.
The walking tour will feature new photo opportunities, an 18-0foot walk through mushrooms and a 22-foot prism tree, along with a reimagined Peppermint Post Office.
Value nights are also returning, with driving and walking tour tickets being $20 and $25. Bike night is also back for $8 per cyclist, with the Pedal Pit Stop at 1 Palm Drive offering refreshments, restrooms, and seating.
Another thing returning this season is the Celebration in the Oaks Dasher Pass.
This pass will offer expedited driving tour entry for an additional $40. If you are a Friends of City Park member, you will receive one free Dasher Pass Driving Tour.
