Another Louisiana lawmaker is coming out and calling for the release of the Epstein files.
Sen. Bill Cassidy told WDSU, “If there’s something there, they should release it.”
He also said, ” I can tell you, until it gets out there it’s going to be a drip, drip, drip, so whatever you have, put it out there and people will look at it and see there was nothing.”
In an interview Tuesday, House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La, called for the Justice Department to “put everything out there and let the people decide.”
This all comes a week after the Department of Justice announced in a memo that “there is no evidence Epstein kept a “client list” or was murdered.
The Justice Department said they do not plan to release any new documents in the matter.
President Donald Trump is now lashing out at his own supporters for being duped by Democrats, as he tries to clamp down on criticism over his administration’s handling of much-hyped records in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking investigation, which Trump now calls a “hoax.”
