New Orleans & Company, the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, the Caesars Superdome and hospitality partners are preparing to welcome more than 20,000 participants for the Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod (LCMS) Triennial Youth Gathering from July 19 to 23.
This marks the fifth time the LCMS Youth Gathering has been held in New Orleans since 1980. The event brings thousands of young people together to deepen their Christian faith and Lutheran identity through worship, learning sessions and community building.
The 2025 theme, “Endure,” focuses on encouraging youth to persevere in their faith amid life’s challenges. Each day features multiple sessions led by speakers from across the LCMS, covering topics such as navigating faith during struggles, career decisions, media pressures and relationships. The full schedule is available here.
Participants will also take part in numerous volunteer projects benefiting a wide range of local and national organizations, including Audubon Charter School, Bayou District Foundation, Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana, Dress for Success, New Orleans Mission, Second Harvest Food Bank, Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, The Blood Center, Urban Conservancy, Wigs For Kids and many more. These efforts aim to leave a lasting positive impact on the New Orleans community and beyond.
The LCMS Youth Gathering will take place from July 19 to 23.
