Tems recently released a self-directed video for her latest single, “Love Me Jeje,” a song set to feature on her upcoming debut album, Born in the Wild.
The video, which pays homage to Tems’ hometown of Lagos, features Nigerian singer-songwriter Seyi Sodimu. It shows Tems at a karaoke spot and provides a look at the architecture and culture of Lagos and families enjoying their time out.
“If not you, then I don’t wanna know, I don’t want no story/Day and night, it’s unconditional, got m? living softly/Love me JeJe, love me tender,” Tems sings. Spax and Guiltybeatz produced the track, which was written by Tems.
Born in the Wild is set to arrive this month, but no official release date or the record’s tracklist have been revealed as of yet.
